Laurencekirk Box

The Laurencekirk Box is a sort of box construction with a partially inherent hinge mechanism as its defining characteristic. The circumstances surrounding the invention of the Laurencekirk Box are disputed, though the Alyth craftsman James Sandy (1766–1819) is commonly attributed as its inventor.
