Liquoring of Tobacco
Liqouring is a term that in the context of tobacco manufacturing simply means moistening, and liquoring might be done for a number of reasons including as to make the tobacco material easier to work, to aid a fermentation process, and to suit consumer preferences. A liquor would be water, whether unadulterated or sweeted or a brine. The terms liqouring and saucing are often used interchangeably, however they are not properly synonymous despite some lexical overlap.
